FitLot User Insights
Using Enterprise Location Intelligence from Unacast, each time someone enters a FitLot Fitness Park with a mobile device, their visit can be accounted for to provide the following usage and demographic insights.
Using this data we learned that on average Fitlot Fitness Parks are visited and used about 40,000-50,000 times a year. Over the 20 year life expectancy of a FitLot that adds up to about 800,000 visits.
The information below is from a report for our FitLot in Craig Ranch Park in North Las Vegas, Nevada. We hope the following information helps demonstrate our ability to understand how often FitLot parks are being used and by whom.
Case Study
Park Impressions
Below is data from The University of New Orleans’s Transportation Institute’s pedestrian counter on the Lafitte Greenway, which located on the greenway next to the entrance of a FitLot Outdoor Fitness Park.
| Average Daily Users | Total Annual Users | |
| 2017 | 799 | 291,678 |
| 2020 | 1097 | 329,201 |
These numbers tell us how many people walk or bike past the fitness park every single day and on an annual basis.
By taking the 2020 total number of annual users and multiplying it by the 20-year lifespan of the park, we can extrapolate that fitness park and sponsorship recognition will be viewed at least 6,584,020 times in the park’s lifespan. This number does not account for the increased annual usage overtime or any of the automobile traffic driving by the park.
We hope this example demonstrates just how many people may interact with each park and recognize your company’s community support on a daily, annual and long term basis.
PR Exposure
Over the past decade, FitLot park projects have earned 700 media placements, an average of 12 per park, without spending a dollar on paid PR. That coverage reached outlets with a combined monthly audience of more than 1.8 billion, including USA Today, the Associated Press, ABC News, NBC News, and CBS News, and generated 23,700 shares, likes, and comments from readers which helped us highlight and celebrate partnerships with cities, parks departments, health systems, and community organizations.
This level of earned media reflects strong editorial trust and ongoing public interest in FitLot’s mission.
Media coverage typically accompanies FitLot park installations and ongoing programming, helping normalize outdoor fitness infrastructure as a public health intervention at the community level while also reinforcing FitLot’s position as a national supporter of outdoor fitness parks and programs.
FitLot also maintains an active social presence across major platforms, reinforcing park installations and community programming through instructional content and partner recognition.
FitLot social content has generated tens of thousands of interactions over time, primarily driven by instructional and community-based posts.

The Impact of Your Support in Perspective
- In 2018, the average cost of a bypass surgery was $123,000. A single FitLot could prevent dozens, even hundreds of bypass surgeries from ever being needed.
- The cost of a new 1,570 square-foot concession stand with restrooms built on the Lafitte Greenway in 2021 was $1,900,000
- 1.9M could fund 7 FitLots creating walkable access to tens of thousands of residents in 7 different neighborhoods for the next 15-20 years.
